The Sea Witch by Eva Leigh
When witchcraft meets piracy, sparks—and swords—fly…
The Sea Witch opens with a gripping and original premise: thirteen women accused of witchcraft in Boston escape execution by stealing a ship and setting sail to the Caribbean, where they live as pirates. Alys Tanner, now the fearless captain of The Sea Witch, is fiercely dedicated to protecting her crew and embracing the pirate life. But when Ben Priestly, a British navy officer with a personal vendetta against pirates, boards her ship with plans to bring them down, sparks fly in an enemies-to-lovers dynamic that kept me hooked from start to finish.
The novel is packed with action, magic, and tension, perfectly blending historical fiction with fantasy and romance. I loved how the story combined witchcraft and piracy—two of my favorite genres—and it delivered just the right amount of forced proximity and slow-burn romance. I’m eagerly anticipating the sequel.
If you grew up fascinated by witches and Pirates of the Caribbean, this book is absolutely for you.
